I am a PhD student at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornel Medical College. In a nut: I apply machine learning methods to heterogenous sources of high throughput biological data (NGS and microarray data) in order to better understand mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and how they are involved in determining cell fate and disease progression. I am currently working on uncovering the mysteries of alternative cleavage and polyadenylation, how this process is regulated, and how it impacts function of the cell.
